Alcatraz Integrated Intelligent Systems - The most sophisticated fence available

Alcatraz, is a South African company has scrutinized the market and determined that there is a significant demand for a more robust palisade product that can intelligently interface with security, surveillance, and communication technologies.

AMS manufacture a range of robust stainless steel security products called "Secure4Life". Our product line includes, Alcatraz Intelligent Dual-Fence, Alcatraz Free-Standing Fence Alcatraz Conventional Fence Alcatraz Wall-top Fence Alcatraz Wall Spikes that are extremely sharp.

Alcatraz provides state of the art design and event driven reporting systems. Our Mimic Panel display will indicate the exact perimeter zone and current alarm status. GSM will provide additional proof of an event, alerting Armed Response Control. Security Guards will react with confidence and purpose to any attempted breech.

Alcatraz Intelligent Fence: An Intelligent Perimeter Fence, provides new age design and configuration provides continuous current in the top section of fence (600mm high), whilst monitoring the Passive condition of the bottom section of the fence (1800mm high). No Welding is needed in the assembly or the Installation process, and can be provided as a Dual-fence, Free-Standing or Wall-top fence. Electrical Class One fire retardant isolators (1000 degrees) for connectors are used in the Installation process.

Our 3CR12 products will last 12 times longer than galvanized mild steel. Once painted or powder coated, a coastal life span of 30 years can be expected. Our stainless steel products are also 30% stronger than mild steel and retain their Sharp Points.

Alcatraz Point of Entry: Power-up on demand means that if the fence is attacked or an attempted breech is detected (Rules are defined for example after three bumps or three attempts at cutting a cross bearer etc) the fence will sound an alarm and trigger a flashing Strobe, which will increasingly flash faster and faster, whilst sounding loader and loader (Stage one Alert) any further attempt will automatically trigger a “Power-up on demand” status and electrifying the fence as Active for 60 seconds or until no movement is detected; after which the fence will return normal Passive condition.

Alcatraz Anti-Burrowing: Provides motion, movement sensors and is placed underground in sealed conduit which will detect all movement below the fence, normally placed between every Post. Should an attacker try to tunnel below the fence the technology and Intelligence will relay all activity back to the Mimic Panel and in turn will display the zoned area of concern.

Palisade fencing

Our easy to install palisade fence product range are manufactured with slotted bearers (cross bars). The palisade pales slide into place and are then "tack welded" into place. The weld area does however have to be cleaned and re-passivated after the welding operation. Our fencing products are easily transported in kit form and then installed on site.

We currently produce two ranges of palisade fencing:
A. High security:
This 7 point palisade fence pale product range is recommended for areas where high security is required. This fencing product is manufactured from thicker gauge 3CR12 and is thus more resistant to break-in attempts.
B. Medium security:
This 7 point palisade pale is recommended for light business and residential areas. The sections are slightly lighter than for the " High security" option and therefore also slightly cheaper.

Our palisade fences or roll formed and are thus available in any height from 500 mm upwards. Standard lengths are however:

• 600 mm
• 1800 mm
• 2100 mm
• 2400 mm

Wall Spikes

Our 3CR12 wall spikes can be attached to walls for added security. They are designed to give maximum strength offering excellent protection against bending and tampering by would-be criminals. The added corrosion resistance of 3CR12 will reduce the risk of unsightly rust stains running down your painted wall. This also reduces your property's maintenance costs

Coatings

Although 3CR12 is much more rust resistant then galvanised mild steel, it may discolour and rust in time it coastal areas and in high pollution environments. We can supply our products in either uncoated, primer coat, or powder coated finishes. Powder coating and painting will allow your access barrier to blend in with the surrounding area or building complex
